Sati. The not boring Classics – is a show where young musicians, students and not famous professionals take part together with reputable pianists, violinists, opera singers, ballet prima donnas, actors and composers. Ones make questions and listen, the others reply and speak. The conversation is based on interesting stories about music.
The host Sati Spivakova is an expert in music and can speak about like nobody else. “Many people think classic music is boring, but I am convinced that if someone doesn’t like it, he just hasn’t yet met people who could explain him the basics of this great art. Music is a language. First you have to learn the alphabet, then learn to read and improve from the simple to the great authors. There are 33 letters and only 7 notes, but how much has been created of them! You can’t get inside it without knowing the basics. In the show I try to avoid professional talking to make it interesting for the audience”.
On May 25th 2012 Sati. The not boring classics has been awarded with TEFI 2011 as a music show about classics in the professions category.
